Training and Continual Professional Development
Inspiration days: Inspiration days are targeted at non-dance specialists working in health or education where dance and movement can be used within your own work settings with the people you work with. An experienced and trained dance artist will come to your place of work and provide you and your team with activities that you can deliver and develop in your own ways. Each inspiration day consists of both written and practical work and are requires 4hrs of delivery which can be adapted to suit your group.
Young People
Spiral Dance is committed to creating opportunities for young people to work in dance.
Creating Dance
A course for 14-16yrs to look at different dance styles, choreography and looks at keeping people safe within a dance class. The aim of the course is for young people to develop skills to create dance and to see how this can be developed to create dance for other people.
Volunteering in Dance:
A course for 16-19yrs that focuses on looking at dance and movement and how it can be developed in community settings. Encouraging good practice, health and safety and creative ideas that young people can deliver themselves.
