This is a project involving local people in dance, arts, drama and poetry, exploring the Folkways of the Borough of Rochdale. Folkways celebrates the diversity of communities, what do we share and what is hidden? Folkways takes participants on a journey that unites and brings people together.

Comment: I was.... a teacher, a school bursar, a domestic help, a housewife, angry, shy, lonely, spending all the time, rushing, loud!, the other women, apprehensive at starting a new job.
I am..... trying to increase my confidence and live my life to the full, retired and feeling unsure,trying to be my life-happy, just want to dance, calm, enjoying my life, creative,untidy, becoming calmer-sometimes!?!, trying to save up, messy, silly, a dancer, trying to think before I speak, going to complete my masters, getting older and wiser.
I will..... Be glad when my refurbishment is completed, continue to try to be fit,try my best to be something to anybody, a better person, go to Russia one day, pay my debts, learn to forgive, be exuberant, have money in the bank, tidier and more organised, buy my own house and have a family, be more tactful.
